David Moore

David Moore is the founder, President, and CEO of the AcuTech Group and has over 40 years of specialized experience in process safety and risk management. Mr. Moore is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection Engineering in Pennsylvania. Mr. Moore’s expertise includes the management of process safety and security, process hazards analysis, quantitative and qualitative risk assessment, OSHA and EPA compliance, process safety engineering, fire protection engineering, auditing, security vulnerability analysis for the process industries, and emergency planning.

He was the project manager for the 2009 update of the classic AIChE CCPS Guideline Book Inherently Safer Chemical Processes, A Lifecycle Approach, which is the leading guideline on inherent safety referenced by all US regulations on the topic.

Mike Hazzan

Associate, AcuTech Group, Inc.

Mike Hazzan is a mechanical engineer and Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC) by the Center for Chemical Process Safety with over 45 years of total experience in process safety and risk analysis, security, engineering, and plant operations. He has served as a Project Manager/Lead Engineer for many safety and risk studies, security analyses, and audits in the chemical/process, power, and LNG industries.

In addition, he has authored or co-authored several CCPS Guidelines books on process safety auditing, process safety culture, and security, and contributed to the books on inherent safety and mechanical integrity.

Mark Farley

Managing Partner, Farley & Partners LLP

Mark Farley is a preeminent national workplace safety and crisis management lawyer. Chambers and Partners, a global legal ranking organization, describes Farley & Partners LLP as “the foremost authority in the US on OSHA and chemical crisis management.” Many of the largest global energy companies and chemical manufacturers identify Farley & Partners as their crisis response counsel. Mark has served in lead attorney roles for some of the most significant US industrial accidents and transportation incidents in the last 20 years.

Mark and his colleagues also counsel clients on chemical accident prevention requirements, including the US EPA Risk Management Program regulation. Farley & Partners advises clients with respect to these requirements, agency inspections, and subsequent enforcement. The firm has successfully negotiated the resolution of multi-million dollar penalty demands by US EPA under the RMP rule. Farley & Partners also advised clients in connection with the RMP rulemaking and is working with companies as they implement the final regulation.
