Implementing EPA’s Accidental Release Prevention (RMP) Program - (2 days)
    This course provides a thorough overview of the three primary program requirements of the EPA Risk Management Program. 40 CFR Part 68, (Prevention Program, Emergency Planning , and Hazard Assessment). Practical aspects of "how-to" comply are addressed. Integration with OSHA PSM program elements to efficiently streamline development and implementation will be covered. Attendance would benefit environmental and safety professionals, operations and maintenance managers/supervisors, and RMP coordinators.

    Program benefits include:
    • Understanding the similarities and differences between OSHA PSM and EPA RMP Prevention Program requirements and how to efficiently and effectively address both
    • Ability to determine Hazard Assessment requirements (including worst-case release scenarios)
    • Instruction on selecting worst-case and alternative case scenarios

    Prerequisite: Basic understanding of the OSHA PSM regulation
