Emergency Response Programs Emergency response programs are common in most facilities, but AcuTech can:
EPA RMP is not intended to create new emergency response requirements that are unfamiliar to most facilities. AcuTech will, however, ensure that the results of accidental release scenarios be incorporated into existing programs. AcuTech is also experienced consolidating multiple emergency response plans consistent with the Federal Integrated Contingency Plan (ICP) guidance. ICP, also known as the "one plan," provides a way for consolidating multiple emergency response plans into one plan. It offers an alternative compliance method that avoids unnecessary duplication in complying with the emergency planning requirements of these agencies. Emergency response requirements included in the guidance are OSHA PSM and EPA RMP, OSHA Emergency Action Plan and HAZWOPER, OPA SPCC and facility response plans, RCRA Contingency Plan, DOT/RSPA Pipeline Response Plan, MMS Facility Response Plan, and USCG Facility Response Plan. As former firefighters, safety program managers, and members of industrial fire brigades and HAZMAT teams, AcuTech consultants have the necessary experience to evaluate and improve emergency response programs. AcuTech is also a value-added reseller of real-time, emergency response software called PlantSafe™. This tool, with it's expert-based system for evaluating and giving direction in emergency situations, greatly improves the reliability of first responders and others in carrying out effective and safe procedures in a crisis.
