DHS has posted several documents and on-line
training to assist companies with the new Chemical Facility
Anti-Terrorism Standard (CFATS). The Chemical-Terrorism
Vulnerability Information (CVI) user training is now posted to
the DHS web site. Anyone who is required to submit a
Top-Screen needs to go through the on-line training. The
training takes approximately 30 minutes and can be found at:

Last week DHS
posted a copy of the Top-Screen questions and draft Users
Manual. Both of these will be modified when Appendix A is
finalized, but these documents should help facilities start to
get ready to prepare their Top-Screen submissions.

If you haven't
completed your facility registration, you may also find the new
DHS Registration Users Guide helpful.

At last week's DHS sponsored Security Summit in Alexandria,
DHS officials advised registering now and obtaining your user ID
and password and not wait until Appendix A is finalized.
