02/15/03 - NPRA Announces 2003 National Environmental & Safety Conference

The National Petroleum & Refiners Association (NPRA) announced that the Environmental & Safety conferences will be held at jointly this year because of emerging shared issues.  The new conference, to be held in New Orleans April 23 - 24, features both general sessions and workshops on environmental and safety issues affecting petroleum refineries and petrochemical plants.

NPRA President, Bob Slaughter, will open the conference with an address discussing the challenges facing the industries in a time of economic and political change and uncertainty.  The conference will feature workshops, poster sessions and a trade show.
