| Risk Decision-Making Paper Presented at ASSE Symposium |

AcuTech presented a paper on the timely issues of developing a risk
decision-making culture, routinely applying employee work teams to evaluate risks, and the use of methods such as cost-benefit analysis to assist in
difficult risk decisions.
Presented at the American Society of Safety Engineers Symposium in Bakersfield, CA, on March 8th, the theme
of the talk was the need for and benefits of developing a risk decision-making policy within an organization. Some of the reasons for this include the
increased legal and regulatory pressures of managing risk in the 21st century.
The talk highlighted the key factors to consider in
evaluating risks, and showed a very practical approach to assist management in risk decisions.
