David Moore, President of AcuTech, presented a paper at the Mary Kay OConner Process Safety Symposium at Texas A&M University on March 30, 1998, which. explained the merits of expert systems and information management as a tool for improved emergency response to chemical accidents. Mr. Moore presented a paper co-written by Albert J. Slap and Daniel Hillman of Geosphere Emergency Response Systems on the PlantSafe system. A copy of the paper appears in InterSafe, where it discusses working examples of such systems.
